Tips & Tricks for Caring for Your Backpack

A backpack is always a faithful companion. To ensure it stays that way for as long as possible, you need to follow a few basic care instructions. Over time, dust and dirt will accumulate on your backpack, which is best removed with a large brush. Stubborn dirt or stains can be wiped away with a damp cloth. Hang the backpack upside down to dry and air out. Under no circumstances should you wash your backpack in the washing machine! Remove crumbs and dirt from the inside by shaking it out vigorously or using a hand vacuum. For leather backpacks, we recommend polishing and caring for the leather with special creams. Frequent use can cause zips to jam. You can solve this problem by applying a commercially available silicone spray to the zip. Lint, dust particles, or animal hair collect in Velcro fasteners over time. You can easily remove these with a small brush.
